LAX has a 24-hour LAX Cell Phone Waiting Lot where motorists meeting arriving passengers can wait for free, up to two hours, until passengers call to say they are ready to be picked up in the Central Terminal Area.
The Cell Phone Lot is located on 96th St just east of Sepulveda Blvd, one-quarter mile west from the 96th Street Bridge entrance into LAX’s passenger terminal area. It is easily accessible from the north and east by motorists using La Tijera, Sepulveda, Manchester and Century Boulevards to access LAX.
No commercial vehicles or ride-service vehicles allowed. Vehicles in the LAX Cell Phone Waiting Lot must be attended at all times. No parking is allowed in or around this facility.
Effective April 1, 2019, there will be no more shuttle service at the Cellphone Waiting Lot. For shuttle service to LAX, Cell Phone Waiting Lot customers will have to use LAX City Bus Center Bus Bays 11 and 12. In addition, passengers can obtain local transit information by calling 323.GO.METRO or 323.466.3876.
Central Terminal Area (CTA) Parking
Nearly 8,000 parking stalls are available in eight parking structures located opposite the roadways from the passenger terminals. Parking is available for extended stays and overnight trips.
All vehicles entering the Central Terminal Area (CTA) are subject to random inspection.
All individuals (including persons with disabilities) who pull a parking stub and pass through a gate arm into a parking structure are required to pay the posted parking rates.
Vehicles parked for over 30 days are subject to impound at owner’s expense, LAMC 87.35 & 89.41. Individuals may request a parking extension over the 30 days limit by contacting ABM at 310-646-2911.
All CTA parking structure entrances are clearly marked with vertical clearances.
- Parking Structures 1, 2A, and 6 have a maximum vehicle height restriction of 8 feet, 2 inches.
- Parking Structures 2B and 5 have a maximum vehicle height restriction of 7 feet. Parking Structures 3 and 4 have a maximum vehicle height restriction of 7 feet, 6 inches. Parking Structure 7 has a maximum vertical height clearance of 7 feet on all parking levels.
- Vehicles exceeding the maximum vehicle height restrictions in the CTA parking structures should use Parking Lot E.

The CTA Parking Structures are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays.
Yes, the parking rate is as follows:
First 15 minutes - free parking; $5 for the first hour and $4 for each 30 minutes thereafter up to the maximum daily rate of $40 per day.

Motorcycles should not take a parking ticket upon entry of parking structure; they should drive around the gate arm to enter parking structure. Motorcycles park for free for up to a maximum of 30 days provided they park in designated motorcycle parking areas, end of rows and aisles. Motorcycles parking in vehicle parking spaces, blocking pedestrian walkways or ADA access will be cited and may be impounded at owner’s expense.
If your vehicle is impounded, you may reach Airport Police at 310-646-4268.
If a customer has lost their parking ticket, the minimum amount owed is $40 provided the vehicle has not parked for more than 1 day. Vehicles parked for more than 1 day will be charged for each day of parking plus $40 fee for a lost ticket. Nightly inventory of vehicles parked is performed daily.

No, there is no monthly or reserved parking in any of the CTA Parking Structures. These Parking Structures are first-come, first-serve basis only. There is no valet or meter parking either.

Absolutely! Every CTA Parking Structure has ADA parking spaces available near an elevator or arrivals or departure levels. Please keep in mind that CTA parking is on a first come, first served basis. The same posted parking rates apply to the ADA parking spaces.
There are charging stations available at the first levels of Parking Structures 1, 6, and 7. Parking Structure 1 has (20) Level II Electric charging spots and (2) Level III Fast Electric charging spots available. Parking Structure 6 has (20) Level II Electric charging spaces available. Parking Structure 7 has (18) Level II Electric charging spaces available. These are all open on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may plug in and leave vehicles plugged in until you return from your trip.

Electric vehicle (EV) owners can conveniently charge at the first levels of Parking Structures 1, 6 and 7 in the Central Terminal Area (Arrivals/Lower level). Useful information is listed below:
EV Charging Locations
Level III Fast Charger is now available in Parking Structure P1 for use on a first-come, first served basis for up to a maximum of 30 minutes parking. This new charger will allow users to charge their vehicle in approximately 20 minutes or less.
Level II Chargers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Electricity is provided free of charge.Parking rates apply. Please pay parking fees upon exit.

Economy Parking Lot E is conveniently located near Los Angeles International Airport at 5455 W 111th Street, and has 2,690 parking spaces, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Economy E Parking Lot
Courtesy shuttle service is available 24/7, and runs approximately every 15 minutes between Economy parking Lot E and the LAX Central Terminal Area, with convenient stops at each terminal.

Motorcycle and Bike Parking
When entering, drive carefully around the entrance gate arm and DO NOT take a ticket. Do not park in a space for a car. A motorcycle may be parked at the ends of rows, in corners, and in other spaces provided it does not block access to parked vehicles, handicapped spaces, Smarte Carte machines, passenger traffic, paths for the disabled, automobile traffic, doors, elevators, driveways, etc. Parking violations will be issued to all offenders (Vehicle code 22507.8(b) & (c)). When exiting, drive carefully around the exit gate arms. Entering/exiting a lot via a sidewalk is not allowed.
Bike Parking is available in several areas within the Central Terminal Area. The map below shows the locations of all bike parking racks:

What is it?
This parking permit authorizes vendors with oversize vehicles only (excess of 8' HT x 9' LG) to utilize specific designated areas in the LAX Central Terminal Area to make their deliveries (i.e. designated areas of West Way, East Way, and a portion of the USO lot).
LAX Concession and/or Tenant service providers with oversize vehicles may be authorized to use these designated areas on an as-needed basis as determined by LAWA Management and arranged through Parking Services.
Los Angeles World Airports reserves the right to change program rules and/or discontinue the program at any time.

The following changes to Lot South/LAX City Bus Center shuttle service will be implemented beginning April 1, 2019:
Lot South/LAX City Bus Center Shuttle Service
Starting April 1, 2019 midnight, a new ‘Lot South/LAX City Bus Center’ route will begin servicing LAX Employee Lot South and the Metro Bus Center for shuttle service to LAX. The new route will have one stop (Stop #2), one stop (Stop #3) at the southern portion of Lot South (formerly Lot C) and another stop (Stop #4) at the Metro Bus Center (Bay #11 and Bay #12). This route will stop in all CTA terminals, T1-T7. There will be no service from Lot C Bus Depot. (Click Here for map of Lot South/LAX City Bus Center stop locations.)
NOTICE: Lot South/City Bus Centers shuttles to LAX will temporarily pick-up/drop-off passengers at the Lot C Bus Depot from May 15 to June 5, 2019 due to road repairs. Please follow directional signs posted at different locations. Sorry for the inconvenience. NOTE: Lot South/Metro Bus will service Stop #1 on a temporary pilot project.
Employee Lot East and Lot West Shuttle Service
Employee Lot East and Lot West shuttle bus routes will basically remain the same, with additional stops in Employee Lot South as follows:
- LOT EAST SHUTTLE: Additional stops at Lot South Stop #1, Lot South Stop #2, and CTA terminals (T1, T2, T3, and TBIT)
- LOT WEST SHUTTLE: Additional stops at Lot South Stop #1,Lot South Stop #2, and CTA terminals (T4, T5, T6, and T7)
Cellphone Waiting Lot
Effective April 1, 2019, there will be no more shuttle service at the Cellphone Waiting Lot. For shuttle service to LAX, customers will have to use Metro Bus Center Bus Bays 11 and 12.
Car Rental Depot Service
Also beginning April 1, 2019, the Green Line shuttle (operated by ABM Aviation) will stop servicing the passenger drop-off at the car rental depot on Century Blvd. This service will be handled by the new Lot E ‘Economy Lot’ shuttle bus operated by LAZ Parking.
