NEW ONLINE PORTAL STREAMLINES DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS CERTIFICATION
(Los Angeles, CA) As part of ongoing efforts to promote contracting opportunities within the airport marketplace, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), in partnership with the Los Angeles Public Works-Bureau of Contract Administration (BCA), has launched a new online portal for vendors to apply for certification as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or an Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE).
Entry to LAX is only allowed for airline passengers and persons meeting, accompanying or assisting them, and airport personnel whose employment requires their presence. LAX is closed to the general public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
